Adventures of Des and Cort is back and this one is called Lamborfeeties… because after this conversation, we are fully convinced some people should not be driving and should instead be using their God-given lamborfeeties.
Cort exposes her road rage and the best part is she doesn’t even realize it’s happening while she’s casually on the phone like everything is fine. Meanwhile Des found an account called Mr. Road Ready and now fully believes some of you should not be allowed behind the wheel. At all. Ever 🚗😳
Des is also officially meeting’d out. If it is not an email, she does not want to be invited. Protecting her peace one declined calendar invite at a time. Honestly, same.
We celebrate Des being appointed as an ACC Civic Leader and Cort could not be more proud. This is a big deal and we love to see women stepping into roles like this and absolutely owning it. 👏
Then we have a moment of realization. We are now the old ladies at baby showers and weddings. The observers. The commentators. The ones saying back in my day. It happened fast and we have thoughts.
Cort also shares a reality check about retirement that has her rethinking everything. Turns out “comfortable” might require a whole lot more than expected and she may be just a little behind. Nothing like a casual financial spiral to keep things exciting. 💸😵💫
