This week on Adventures of Des and Cort, we did what every wild night out in your 40s requires. We brought our labs to the bar and opened MyChart like it was part of the drink menu 🍸📱
What started as a fun night with the dudes somehow turned into a full medical roundtable. Liver enzymes were discussed. Phones came out. MyChart was opened. Retirement planning followed shortly after. This is who we are now and honestly it was still a good time.
Des talks hot flashes and her absolute hatred for mukbang videos. The slurping. The eye rolling. The chewing. Every bite feels personal and she will not stand for it. Meanwhile Cort casually admits she has become a mukbang watcher and yes this may be a friendship test.
Des also shares how watching Cory with a friend’s baby unlocked a new level of excitement about him as a future grandpa and honestly she was not emotionally prepared.
Then Cort shares the moment Josh saw a woman in public wearing a shirt that said c*nt and we spiral into a rant about class, decency and why some thoughts do not need to be screen printed.
Of course there are side rants, questionable opinions and conversations that go absolutely nowhere. Just the way we like it.
